Blood Reagents

Acid Fuchsin, also known as Hungarian Red, is a stain for enhancing blood impressions, and has the characteristic of fluorescence when viewed under a light source. Acid Yellow 7 is a fluorescent stain used to enhance blood impressions on nonporous surfaces. Acid Violet 17 is a fluorescent stain used to enhance blood impressions on nonporous surfaces.
